Thanks Ben and every one else.I think this is the best piece of advice for me.

To make a long story short, this imbecile of a plumber melted my acrylic tub with his soldering gun, after specifically being told to cover it and being provided with a large piece of cardboard.

My Warchest isn't big enough to grab a piece of everything.

we just cut the surround, replaced the window with a vinyl one with frosted glass and used plastic trim pieces for the window. you can do glass block too but opening is the reason for our window.

One other piece of information is that this is a long-term investment for me.
