If I proceed with adding one unit, around 1500 sqft, the construction and approval costs may amount to approximately $450K, which would bring the total property value to around $1.35 million.Given that some three-unit properties in Canton have sold for less than $1 million in the last two years, I'm uncertain whether adding this one unit and renting it out would be a wise investment.My questions are:Is adding a single unit worth the investment considering the current market trends in Canton, MA?

I have a guy that looks great on paper, but doesn't want to move in for 30 days because he needs to give his current landlord 30 days notice, which, I completely respect him for doing. 

I would even credit that current month.

One week later, after writing their current investors that they are suspending interest payments, they are still seeking new investors for investments but do not inform the new potential investors that they have suspended interest payments.

Prior to this new surcharge by the HOA, we currently pay CO General Sales & Use Tax of 2.9%, Grand County General Sales & Use Tax of 1.3%, Grand County Accommodations Tax of 1.8%, and Granby City General Sales & Use Tax of 4%.

If I buy a new property as a primary residence and move into that new house, will I still have to pay a down payment for an investment property if I plan to rent out the house I currently have after I move into the new house?
