Last week Colony American Homes (a subsidiary of Colony Capital) 'postponed' its IPO due to "market conditions".

I guess my fear is ones we gave them a notice, they might postpone and delay the closing process, since they do not have an incentive to do their job fast and find a new tenant. 

But with the birth of my newborn I was trying to postpone that trip.

If this had been a Sheriff Sale the attorney handling the foreclosure would have done the research (had somebody do it) and if could not find the lien holder would have postponed the Sheriff Sale until the next month.
