- What portion of the total budget should be allocated for marketing and insurance?

I am looking at a property that has a garden level/basement with ~7ft ceilings, normal height/size windows, and 2 separate ground level entrances/exits... it backs onto a hill and is roughly 80% above grade.

Most of these failed deals are being given back to the banks or bid at auction but the average size of these deals is 8 figures.

I'd recommend getting multiple quotes from service providers to see what pricing is going to look like per square footage.Without too much information provided and depending on the size of your home it could be anywhere from $5,000-$15,000+

Additionally, I wanted an easy investment since I felt like I was not ready to take on the rehab portion.

I know long time right but I would go to real estate events, REIA meetings so on and so forth, but they wouldn't give you all the information needed only bite sizes so you could purchase their costly programs.

I agree with @Jonathan Greene in terms of having a specific buy box - size, condition, and type of properties you wish to focus on.

I have personally installed a medium sized system on an Off-Grid vaction home I have and it is a real life-saver.
