I've wanted to start an automotive after school program for inner city kids, have a free automotive repair shop for single mothers that would provide free cars to the needy single moms.

Mother in law a VP of a Title Company,  neighbor is a Broker,  I have plumbing and contractor connection, and a wife that has incredible insight for home interior! 

A friend has a mother that has gone to assisted living.

And of course were you live is the mother of all appreciation plays.. :)

If he had no immediate prospect of higher income I'd agree, but he showed me $12k in savings, plenty to cover the gap till his raise, and his mother offered to co-sign. 

I could pay my mother and father in law to do the landlording? 

My mother got clobbered by Irma. 

The house technically belongs to her mother who passed away Jan 2017 and for different reasons the estate I s still yet to be probated (she thought her brother in TX was handling the estate and he thought she was).
