It sounds like you are immersing yourself in REI knowledge.

Hey everyone,In the last year I have completed my first 2 deals and now have 5 units total (living in one).In the last 2 years I have immersed myself in books, podcasts and this forum and have gained a lot of knowledge.

I am a 23 year old male living in Massachusetts turning a new leaf in life and immersing myself in real estate investing.

@Cory DialWell since you have listened to that many I'd say you got a great understanding of how this game plays out in any circumstance.

Immerse yourself in podcasts and webinars, but always remember that no matter how easy they make it sound there are real risks in real estate.

Immerse yourself in the education here on the forums but also in books and podcasts.  

@Susan Sutherland I am immersing myself on the site and am just getting into using more of the tools.

(I'm nervous) I hope that immersing myself for the next 30 days in BP and other resources will give me the confidence to get the first deal done. thank You for taking the time to stop and respond to my post.

@Riley- you have the right idea in terms of trying to do things for Cash Flow.Ironically- there is a function tomorrow @ the NY Hilton: www.nycrealestateexpo.com In general, you would have to immerse yourself in the RE community.

The best thing to do is to learn your market and immerse yourself in all aspects of the business locally.
