The 1% rule is not a meaningful metric and is only helpful when doing a comparison of properties with similar costs and operating expenses.

I have been involved in residential mold extraction for nothing other than pure lack of HVAC use.

They'll want a copy of the plat for your lot as well as the footprint dimensions of the house to be moved (the former, presumably you already have a copy of, the latter may need to be physically measured or extracted from the plat of record for it).The physical move of the existing structure is just one scope of work among many.

Bottom line is that I'd sacrifice significantly on financing terms or violate the due on sale clause, and I don't believe that the asset protection and liability limitation is really all that meaningful in my case as an owner-occupant in Denver CO.

@Carrie B. in order to do anything meaningful you will have to throw away more of your money.
