Newer, higher efficiency gas water heaters and furnaces do not require a chimney or a 4" metal vent (which is really chimney, possible with a vent in the same pipe); they can be both vented and exhausted through the side of the house.

@Brandon Turner Editing would be the hardest and most exhaustive format...Maybe have 2...keep the original Biggerpockets format, finely edited and produced...and one "uncut" version where it has more free flowing thoughts and dialogue.
