At the end of the day if you’re a self made millionaire no one is going to criticize you for doing these things.  

Lots of pictures and communication were provided during the rehab process, which for an out of state investor is critical to building trust on with the team and build a relationship for future investing.

Normally I would agree with the above comments with regards to responsiveness, but on refinances time is not as critical and I would recommend going with the best rate.

, consider restaging/new photo shoot, and dropping price for a while to bring in more bookings and get more 5-star reviews, which I'll say again are critical.

You won't be able to think of everything to save yourself from critical mistakes.

Tied to this is the fact that it is very hard for us to make informed decisions about making purchases in markets we are unfamiliar with, given the normal ebb and flow of real estate activity.That said, I am not raising this primarily to criticize these companies, but rather to focus on the practical effect of what they leave out.

Perhaps not quite as critical as it used to be given our ability to compensate with a strong internet presence but still important for sure! 

So if you're trying to learn ten, 15 markets, you're never going to reach critical mass in a market where you can actually start winning deals, knowing the market and so on and so forth.

@Rich Emery if you're not EXTREMELY organized, you'll spend every day with your "hair on fire", making critical mistakes that cost your clients - and you'll get burnt out.Don't forget to research the licensing requirements of PMCs. 

Finding a good, qualified tenant is critical to your success when doing that.
