I live at home with my parents currently and am trying to save money for a down payment. 

I have heard about having a parent company with several LLCs below it.

There is not much I can do, I am not the parent of the tenants, and no control over the neighbors.

I’ve been spending time there since I was a child and it feels like a great place, (except for the high crime and drug use, areas which I would never invest in…).

I booked a place for 5 adults and 1 child (16 y/o) plus 2 dogs a couple months ago because of it being the holiday weekend.  

My real estate journey started two years ago when my parents passed and left me what was to be their unrealized retirement property.

Both of my parents have helped with some projects when it comes to labor but financially is myself and the lender that has been amazing through the purchase of both properties.
