As you may be aware, the City of Asheville (about 2/3 of Asheville is in city limits; the rest is under county jurisdiction) has had strict STR regulations in place since 2016.

I had a client use one for their house hack in salt lake city area and it worked out well!

The biggest factor will be how long you plan to own the property or when you think you may refinance.

That alone was the biggest improvement for my business practices and allowed me to take all of my bookkeeping in-house and eliminate the expense I was shelling out for a bookkeeper.

This requires vetting their claims by reviewing EDGAR filings, property records, court records, Secretary of State filings and communicating with those who know more like city government, a more experienced investor, etc.

If interested in adding another state / city to the list I am happy to connect - but hopefully this is irrelevant and you are already progressing along well with your purchase!!!!  

It could even be (more) interesting from a lifestyle point of view as you'll get to stay in different cities/houses every time you go.
