In general this is the only noise complaint I am getting after doing some door planing. 

So, cost of a plane ticket covers any non-emergency.

Because I don't want these to be lost I use FedEx and include a second FedEx envelope complete with label for them to return the recorded assignments. 

We did our closing in part via electronic documents, found a notary for our signatures on the hard copies and used FedEx to send the paperwork back.You don't mention investing at a distance, as I have done, but research is research.  

@Alex Camaerei -How about hand-delivering in a FedEx envelope?

The irony is @Michael Stole is from a place (Ottawa) with colder winters than Indianapolis so I would expect him to be familiar with water lines in winter.That said, sometimes we are in such a hurry to get on the road we overlook something (like shutting the water off or leaving the heat on) only to have that sense of "oh oh" grip us a few hours later as we sit on a plane at 30,000'.

The current tenants are planing to move out at the end of the month so I would have an opportunity to renovate then.

I know that FedEx was at one time handling mail transport for USPS, I do not know if this relationship still exists.

There is also the balance with liability exposure, and succession planing to consider.Finally, when it comes time to pull monies out of the company as dividends, it will be taxed at a lower rate than earned income (at least here).

We are planing on painting over it .
