I am a lifelong entrepreneur and have owned and operated multiple franchises and a couple of other businesses throughout Indiana, so I can also offer advice to entrepreneurs who are looking for insight as they are starting their own business. 

I am interested in transitioning into the development side of the construction process and gain more of an understanding of how finance works.I am also interested in possibly opening other doors for career paths in the built environment leveraging my existing design/construction experience either as a real estate consultant ,owners rep or tech prop entrepreneur All sounds great right but the cost is about 100k+ which I would need to take a loan out for and I am worried that amount of debt could maybe restrict my freedom for the next 10yrs.Should I go ahead and do it or would that money be better invested in starting something and learning as I go ?

@Doran Summers well I'm a young entrepreneur just starting out in real estate investing I found a duplex off Market 6 bedrooms 3 baths being rented right now for 650 each wanted to find a lender to buy it out right now rehab a little bit to get rent higher then get either a HELOC or mortgage out of it to pay lender back not for sure if that's the right direction but it's the way I was going to go about it

Some of the high end are owned by local entrepreneurs.

I love that I am so new to all of this because it’s opportunity to learn and grow as a human and investor/entrepreneur!

Hello Investor and all like minded real estate entrepreneurs. 

Just today I spoke to several entrepreneurs, one a boutique hotel sales consultant. 

The key is to find a private lender in full control of their own funds that have been raised through being entrepreneurs and investors themselves.

I admire you for having an entrepreneur goal at early age!
