There are the occasional Hudson/Marshall-type events, but they only have a small amount at best...for me, I'd rather go and network then buy there.Some I see sell for cheaper, but many are just overburdened and underwater...no reason to even show up unless you can try to make a possible asset contact through the "bank rep" (if they even are an actual employee...even THOSE are being sub-contracted out!

Make sure you check if you are allowed to sell or rent or have to hide that intention up front.And if you want to build a plex (4 units or under is residential financing) you may have a hard time finding the land zoned multi and should look for an special use variance of much more common and cheaper single family zoned land.
