How most of the experienced people in my area do things:Title Holding Entity setup as LLC (Partnership)Property Management Entity setup as LLC (S-Corp)Title Holding Entity signs Management Agreement with Property Management EntityAll property management functions (leases, etc.) done through Property Management EntityProperty Management Entity charges reasonable management fee (10%)Even though you may be a party to all the corporations, treat them as if they are unrelated business entities.

Think about all the people you might know who you would trust in a partnership of some sort and who have some money.Another thing about this deal you might not be considering is that since it's a bankruptcy, it could take a long time to close it.

You'll also want to consider how you are taking title and what that does for your liability (for instance, a joint venture is treated as a general partnership which has unlimited liability).

Hey @Vincent Peraino I would structure this as a 50/50 partnership under an LLC (consult with an attorney/CPA for exact advice as Im not qualified).
