So I'm limited to building a new 3 flat but the upside is I can duplex the basement with the first unit, effectively doubling the square footage of that unit because the basement area does not count towards the total building square footage.

However, FICO 9 will eventually add 12 more scores to the count: a new general risk score per bureau plus a new mortgage, auto and credit card industry score for each.So anything you check (Credit Karma, Discover, FreeAnnualCreditReport.org, etc.) should be used as a guide only and not as absolute gospel as to what your "credit score" will be with your lender.
