Since I was in Texas and planned on staying there, I found out that I was qualified to take a test back then (1980) and get a broker license, so I took the test and got that license.  

I recently found someone who knows of a resort property where he can get it for significantly lower than it is worth,.

Additionally, learning the different market segments, especially here in Central Ohio, would help us focus our attention on what others have found to be the most successful paths to follow.
