If I haven’t been in or my maintenance man hasn’t been in all the units in a building in over the course of the year I schedule a smoke detector/carbon monoxide detector check and have my maintenance man go in to test the units and scope things out.

I did not and the paper blocked a lot of available light and since I removed the ceiling light fixtures or masked them up, it left me a little in the dark.
