I just thought since financing deals is such a major part of buy and hold investing, and it's also just a fairly broad business major, so there should be enough information in there I can translate to my REI by majoring in finance. 

There is a lot that can be done behind a computer in this business, but there is not substitute for getting out in the field and learning how what you are seeing online translates to real life. 

However, over time, I think something got lost in translation during the quest for survival and some have just focussed on self, bringing to fruition the me-me-me culture.
