You need a flexible product to join the 2 planes together either caulk, silicone or grout caulk.Silicone is the most durable but a pain to remove when you need to do this again Caulk works well but will need to be redone more often.

Currently, analyzing the properties is a little time consuming and painful, but I like to know what is going on and how to do things the long, hard, painful, by-hand way before I start using the tools....call me old school but I like to know what's going on!
