Second eviction took too long with the first lawyer so I forced a change in law firms. 

@David MillerOne potential problem I see is if they get equity in the property and they do not fully complete the rehab in a timely manner and you are forced to find another contractor; they are now going to have equity in the property.

We prefer forced air heat/cooling as the air movement provides even heat and helps prevent moisture problems.

If you are looking for properties where you can lean into a renovation and force some equity, I would recommend looking in some towns dotting the perimeter of Raleigh.

If they still refuse the police should not force their way in, since the compliance is a civil matter.

By forcing the appreciation with the value-add component, you aren't paying for someone else to have done the work. 

If they decide to ban rentals or force everyone to paint the houses lime green or jack up the HOA fees, you're out of luck. 

I'm currently in the Air Force and will be for then next five years so I luckily have that income for that time period.
