So I've poked around real estate investing, and I understand there are support services that might be useful for the real estate industry such as clean up services when old tenants move out.

Wow, it's getting to where it's VRBO is the one making all of the money.  2 years ago, the service fee was under 10 percent. 

Without new companies moving into the city and creating replacement jobs, the only jobs left will be low-paying service sector jobs.
