James Masotti Apartment vs. SFH rental rates

In my area, there are few apartments comparable in size to even the smallest SFHs, but if you look at it from a square foot perspective, around here apartments tend to rent for about $1/sf, while SFH tends to rent for $.75-$1.00/sf.

I guess I will run the numbers again with a worst case scenario.I'd say if you find a thread that's an oldie but a goodie, that there is usually little to no harm done to put a fresh post in there to revive it back to the top of the forums.Having said that, you do have to realize that dollar amounts might differ drastically with a large time having elapsed since the dollar amounts were originally posted.As to plumbing unable to hold air pressure, that could be attributed to a wide variety of things, from an open faucet to all copper being stripped from the plumbing.

@Kuba F. and @Abhijit Deywhile I am a CPA who prpares hundreds of real estate investor returns annually, and while I am also a buy and hold investor, I also spent several years working at the IRS, so I have some perspective on this move.I spent a couple years working for the IRS at the Philadelphia Service Center, the biggest IRS Center in the world at the time.
