Currently owe 3.5M on the property.After getting the property rezoned for cannabis cultivation and processing and doing multiple building upgrades it was just appraised for 6M.The state has finally issued the license for cultivation (works similarly to liquor license where it’s attached to the real estate) therefore further increasing asset value.

@Keith TorsenBeing in the middle of a great property in California that we have successfully rented out for 3 years at pretty high rent ($3100) that is brand new and upgraded throughout (built in 2016) I can say that this is a really bad idea.

Very good point, thank you.And yes, inspection - we know everything that needs to be done, have contractor estimates for all the work we can't do, and lots of knowledge for many upgrades and repairs we can do ourselves.
