Well The bank is worth millions they also have the financial backing of the government it’s fdic insured and they hold the deed of your house and qualified you as being well within their screening to pay the mortgage long before you got in the home they also required a large chunk of your cash for a down payment .

I had to drop everything and head over there, try to figure out why there was a huge puddle of blood on the floor and at the same time improvise a quick temporary fix for an (unrelated) leaky pipe.

We have no real estate background, so every phone call, reported issue, tenant screening, etc has added to our knowledge base.

@Rousner Ermonfils You need to adopt a screening criteria that complies with your local landlord/tenant laws and stick to it.

This tenant ~family just broke the glass on screen door next to my property. 

I think this is more a tenant-training (and possibly tenant screening) issue than a repair issue.

Only rub is they don't have tenant screening working yet.
