I have cancelled all the April Reservations based on the SC Governors order for people to stay at home.I have had people try and talk me out of this because they are going stir crazy at home and want to come to our Lake House.I plan on cleaning up the boat and putting it in the water this weekend to make use of this time.I also plan to do some extra maintenance during this downtime.So my reply is:Wait it out figuring it will pass in 30-45 days and they can cover loses until then.I have long term rentals that are doing very well.

I used it as a template and then covered issues as they came up to prevent reoccurance ( issues like neighbor complaints. dangerous dogs, trampolines, parking boats on my lawn , etc.)

I am in the same boat, I have been painting my trim and doors bright white, however starting today, I will be using dark brown for trim and doors. 

I work on boats so my industry is kind of unique when it comes to employment status. 

I am in same boat up in Denton County and trying to build lists now also.

@Maribel Manibo Boat loads of networking will get you there and is better for building long term private capital relationshipsYou can have credibility packets and such but you can't substitute all the heavy documents for genuine relationships built on trust

I'm younger, 30, so in the same boat you are.And PS --- if you make what I make, there is no affordable way to own in NYC and househack haha.
