I've watched Brandon Turner's 4 square analysis video.

I watched him make the repair - jamb was removed, shims went in to level it, and then the jamb went back in, now level countertop and casing that he put in afterwards.As for the toe kick, we needed a larger one because my floors slope towards the center of the home (100 year old house that had structural repairs completed two years ago).

Had never done anything like it before so I used mostly youtube to figure stuff out as I am very handy so just needed to watch and learn.

When I watch Brandon do them, he leaves out cap ex.

I guess I just wait now and watch it like a hawk or should I just take advantage of the current 3.375% they are offering now? 

The rate is not fixed though :(  My loan lady reached out to me to refi both the HELoC and the car payment that I have with them as she said that Trump declared an emergency rate decrease from the prime rate so refinancing both look good!
