I need some help though.Here are the high-level details: 
- 5br/4ba - 4100 square feet - indoor pool/sauna/gym etc - 3 fire places - on a lake - appraised at $750,000-800,000

Below are the older style with glossy doors this ran about 3600 I think but the doors were most of the cost. 

while I wholeheartedly believe in "no one knows", my guess is that market will be stagnant for a while 3-5 years out from here..No easy profit to be made, but no 2008 style crash either, thanks to the tight lending

It is at Bridges Bay on East Okoboji and is in the condo building with the attached indoor water park. 

A lot of it is just landlord style.  

I recently have seen almost a 10 % response rate from custom letters that I mail in more of a UPS or FedEx style letter package - much bigger, better open rate, shows urgency etc.

It looks like the other houses in regards to style but its steel rather than wood. 

If you want to invest you need a high consistent income, good credit score and be able to live a frugal life style to save every penny.

We have used both the trafficmaster from Home Depot and Style Selections from Lowes.  

Something about the communication style that just conveyed that they weren't a rule follower, or were hiding a cat (which we don't allow), or just seem shifty.I think @Thomas S. gives sound advice about coninuing to accept applications until a successful application is found, then alerting all others that the unit has been rented.
