My wife is an REO broker and she has not sold thousands (hundreds though :P) and I have seen all sorts of weird things, mechanic liens, 2nd and 3rd mortgages, multiple bankruptcies to re start the process.

Account ClosedAny person engaged in property management activities in Illinois needs to be licensed.This would include showing a unit for sale or lease.The only way to get around that would be hire a leasing agent, which can only be used for leasing activities and not sales.

The reasoning is because he has a lien which spans multiple properties, this one included and says an installment sale won't wouldn't release the lean of the property.

So it wasn't a big deal and Kevin has been in at least several other purchases in his lifetime where there were no issues in consideration of the multiple Attorney representations and the Escrow accounts... it all seems very safe until you get an Attorney that sees things in a vastly different light than what you believe is the situation.Any thoughts on if the Seller's Attorney having any grounds to keep the deposit despite the Seller not being able to deliver Marketable Title 9 months after the signing on the contract and it will be more in consideration that the Seller's Sister continues to delay the closing?

Ultimately went with American Classic but you could always bid between the two.For plumbing I just met a local Master Plumber randomly the other day and decided to save his info just on how he carried himself and the multiple years he's been in the business but still being young.
