Just received a quote for an Umbrella policy, and after doing so became curious how much other investors and spending on theirs.

Would it be wise to get an umbrella insurance policy to cover myself?

With $500K of liability per property and a $2M umbrella, I slept well at night.

Get an umbrella policy for you as a person. 

I just read a thread about umbrella policies and for that amount of money they could have covered themselves liability wise with a policy for over 15 years instead.

Ok, to summit it up for for everyone....The sky is either starting to fall or going to eventually fall...BUT, if you have a big enough and strong umbrella, you should be fine.
