I mentioned a Physician W2 because the original post used that profession as a comparison between W2 vs real estate.But, if you seperate emotion from the discussion, a Physician carries professional risk, but is not risking capital, and thats the differentiation I was making.As a Physician, when you risk your hard earned after-tax savings and put them into real estate, then and only then, you are risking capital.
