@Carmen Falcone the point of the FHA loan is to help people who would otherwise not qualify for a loan be able to purchase a primary residence.

I don't know if you are a contractor yourself or if you would have a contractor do the work but GLT Products offers soundproofing materials either directly through their company or through a sister company, Sound Acoustic Solutions.

If and only if the numbers work out for your current residence, you may consider renting that out to a tenant and then renting a much less expensive place in which to live (closer to work so you can get rid of one car and its related expenses?)

I have called my local bank that I've been doing business with for years and they informed me, they can not finance Single Family Residences owned by corporations. 

Would the only solution be coming up with the cash for the lien before I can move forward with the FHA just the price of the home?
