It looks like there are other ways to verify their salary but no real way to do a background check. 

Im wondering, wouldnt a way as a non-US resident to invest in real estate in the US on the same terms as US residents be as a limited partner in a syndication?  

We're talking about title company reps, real estate transaction attorneys, SEC attorneys (yeah, the fancy ones), insurance agents, and lenders who make magic happen.

I would check with a real estate attorney in both Arizona and Minnesota to make sure you're compliant with state specific requirements and to handle any potential tax implications.

I am here to absorb anything real estate that I couldn't learn in my hometown nor college.

Read the book "Long Distance Real Estate Investing" by David Greene, then decide if you would like to sign up for an investor academy (which will probably cost hundreds/thousands). 

Mom and popIf you want in-person training and offices and more camaraderie, bib box like KW, Coldwell Banker, etc are good options to start (you will leave after one year).If you are mobile and doing a lot and want to work freely, but have a ton of online support, cloud brokerages are great and have better splits like eXp and Real.

I am hoping to learn a lot and find local real estate investors. 

Luckily, I hosted a local guest who happened to be a real estate lawyer!

A good private money lender should be transparent about terms and fees, have a solid track record and experience in real estate, and demonstrate flexibility in tailoring loan options to meet your needs.
