There are lenders that will refinance a mobile home so you might be able to pull some equity out of it but being completely honest with you it makes no sense to get a loan that way when you can just liquidate it and not owe anything.

To make matters worse even though it’s 5 acres, the “house” is actually a mobile home that has a rocked in base/skirt.Anyway the owners told us that they’d be glad to sell it for only what they owed, approx. $55k.

Have seen a lot of colleagues use Mike Renz at Renz & Associates for these before purchasing Mobile Home Parks nationwide and does very high quality work.A Phase 1 will run you ~$2,000 and a Phase 2 would be $10,000+ and 90 days.
