yes project is in Canby Oregon called Ivyridgeestatescanby dot com if you want to check it out.. we got priced out of Charleston nothing was making sense vis a vi lot prices we could get. we did some new builds in northern FLA but the return was small and not worth the risk so we stopped at 4.

I dont know San Deigo all that well  but I suspect a 450k sfr is not all that spiffy but a 450k condo might be pretty nice.For 450k in say SF south to Gilroy on the West side of the bay.. you cant buy ANYTHING for that low of price Nothing basically.Move up to Seattle and same thing prices are not as high as SF  but still way up there.Portland where we work is one of the better bang for the buck west coast area but still Median price is 400k or more you can buy dogs in the worst part of town for 200k or so.. those same homes that most folks in the mid west buy would be 20k so you can kind of see where they are coming from its just hard for them to compute  vis a vi for rental purposes anyway.

I would also check with the admissions office and review their student visa to see that it is current (getting a student visa is not trivial).

Hello everyone,My wife and I moved to the USA (Western Pa) at the end of last year on E2 visas (24 months automatically renewed while I work with the company).We are currently renting an apartment and we are looking to buy our primary residence by the end of the year (the lease ends October 31st).I contacted a few brokers and they all said the same:"We can't lend you money on an E2 visa because it is too short, plus you don't have 2+ years of credit history."

You can also ask the holder of the Contract for Deed to amend the Contract so that it can be assigned or transferred.
