I put my prejudice aside and was very pleasantly surprised by the interview. 

And you are right I was considering buying a house here as I may work here for a few contracts and houses to us OH folk seem way over priced for what you get lol But I still may look into buying a house and maybe we can work together :)  So that's step 1 for my OH persons; the sticker shock of the real estate prices.

I see places in around the "pleasant street" area at good prices and hear talk of the neighborhood being revitalized, but have yet to see if that is really happening? 

Interesting questions indeed - in particular, this is a big supply shock and there will be knock-on effects.
