Disappointed with the news I started working through potential other options to get funding for the house.Eventually my parents offered to help me buy the house under multiple conditions basically boiling down to having a monthly fee and needing to repay them within one year.  

The good news is that we are not under any tight time constraints, the current owner is very easy to talk with and isn't tied to a particular outcome.

I call fake news!!
