This means Facebook, Google, Amazon and the rest of the technological companies should be subject to more strict regulations.

You would have to prove they were aware of the issue and lied about it on a disclosure.

The technology exists for a reason. 

And I will not lie to you, it is going to take some time so grab what ever your caffeine of choice is.
