@Ihe O. as this could hopefully serve as a learning opportunity for other landlords, outside of ensuring that a PM has insurance that would cover the landlord in a case like this is there anything the landlord might be able to do to defend their stance that a PM was not operating as per their instructions thereby indemnifying them of blame?
