I would recommend finding the following books at your library and giving them a read:Gray, Douglas; "Canadian Landlord's Guide"Cohen, Steve & Dubé, George E.; "Legal, Tax & Accounting Strategies for the Canadian Real Estate Investor"Boiron, Pierre & Boiron, Claude; "Commercial Real Estate Investing in Canada: The complete reference for real estate investors and professionals" The last one can be pricey to purchase - it is essentially a text book - so you may want to have a look in one of the local {university} libraries first.
