My advice would be to maybe reach out to a company here locally that already has the relationships and the licenses in place and learn from them. 

I just moved to Phoenix/Tempe from Boston (learned about the price to live in that city the hard way haha) and I'll be finishing my finance degree at Arizona State.

Make it about how you have some extra time, and want to learn, and want to help them.
