I personally would rather build an empire, and if I'm going to have an empire, I have to be able to manage people/employees and know how to make sure they're doing their job right.

So for anyone who's W-2 employee it should be all about how much you KEEP (and not how much you make!)

Essentially you need to treat tenants more like employees of yours as opposed to customers.

TL/DR Version:  How do full-time employees in the greater NYC area invest (especially locally)? 

I keep it low maintenance and she keeps me in her loop of interested investors.She sends me renters that are new to the area and often new local government employees.

This does not include any other employees.

If you honestly believe that I keep inflated prices and am not "competitive" because I somehow want to keep that rate vs dropping and getting more business than I can handle (and pay for some overseas call center or part time minimum wage employees to deal with all the calls) I will say you are mistaken.  

Obviously this varies but as a full time employee I am having difficulty getting myself starting in fear of totally overwhelming myself.

But if you are an employee of said company you can pay yourself whatever you want.
