and on a unrelated topic....in san diego...if you both work you will need to find daycare with openings in your new area, before the baby is born or you may be out in the cold.

My daughter's generation is the baby bust generation because many millenials can't afford to have kids until well into their 30's (or 40's) and they are only having one.

With twin babies- we don't go out much.

You can find the deals, just have to be connected to the locals and walk into those units reeking of cat piss and say "Smell's like a deal, baby".

I’m taking baby steps.

As she gets older and needs less of my time (I put the electrical business into low gear while she was a baby and toddler to be a  stay-at-home dad) I hope to devote more time to this transition. 

Come to local meetups and shake hands and kiss some babies.

But, you don't have to throw the baby out with the bath water. 

I can feel people saying "but drill-baby-drill"....
