LTR/STR's are great, but as an additional revenue stream, is anyone having success with this?

We love traveling and real estate rental market is the perfect income stream.

I've worked with one buyer and and mid-stream with another who was using this program.  

I'd want to create as many streams of passive income as I could while keeping as much of the money as I could. 

The seminars are too expensive , I would suggest reading as many books posisble , his and others. although I did like his book , multiple streams of income.dont spend thousands on a seminar , use that money for a down payment on a deal!!!

These numbers can not be stream lined.

My goal is to acquire a diversified portfolio of properties, projects, etc so that I can reap the benefits of not just one but many streams of revenue.How can I start off small, with say $5-10k of equity??

This is an up and coming area growing with the spill over from Raleigh and Charlotte, and insulated by the military presence against recession.  

What I can't seem to grasp is how an income producing property can both have a depreciation schedule that leads to low to no taxes AND have an income stream significant enough to grow the business?  

I provide live-streaming and or videos so they feel like they are right by my side.
