Happy Holiday's All,My brother and I invest in Canton and North Canton, Ohio. 

I was wondering if someone with more experience can comment on how the strategy would be modified, if at all, by the holidays?

@Ryan Duchak: The amount of time you put in to get somewhere you could find another deal I'm sure.Look on the bright side... if it does go to auction in 2 months then you are into the holidays and potentially less competition.

Trying to bid on MLS REO properties that are close to turn-key will not have sufficient spreads in them for investors to flip.My impression also is that there are less owner occupant buyers (just like less renters) during the holiday season.

I don't want to drive to the bank and wait in line, fill out slips, get excuses of mail delays or holidays or do any more than check the account on my phone to see that it's paid.

However, because of the holidays and several other things going on right now I'm not going to do anything with this until after new years.

(not like around the holidays or anything)

Also maintenance, free cleaning or handyman service, an occasional gift for the holidays, those things help too.
