We all know China has been part of the grease that has turned the wheels for worldwide growth for the decades they've maintained double-digit or high-single-digit GDP growth.

There is one case in the news currently about a single family in city owned assisted housing building that simply refuses to move.

They are called Lenda, www.lenda.com and have apparently received some seed funding from VCs to digitize the loan application process. 

FYI, I have really good news the city's code enforcement team gave me some really great solutions to fix my issues at my property and they were so much cheaper than the original SOW.

I used to hate reading, except for looking over news websites and staying in touch with what's happening around the world.

Is the meter readout one of the older styles with wheels that turn, or is it a newer LCD readout (digital)?

This is bad news.

Apparently, IE is fussing big time...I have no problems on any other sites that I am aware of.As far as my possible desire to learn Ruby and Ruby on Rails, I want to be able to program anything that I dream up, and I used to be able to do this with FoxPro, though I have no interest in using this program any longer.I'm hoping to avoid making a serious mistake (learning to program in Java might turn out to have been a mistake, look at yesterday's news, heheheh!)
