I live in NY and part of me wants to dive into the wholesaling business but another part of me wants to get my real estate license to further my knowledge and terminology overall encompassing this business as well as the rules and Regulations .At this point I’m just wondering if it’s worth going through a real estate course to further my education in this business or could I trial and error with the information I have acquired thus far to pursuit a successful wholesaling business .

It will give you a snapshot of whether or not the deal works however when evaluating properties you need to go much deeper than just the numbers and take a look at the overall area the property is located in, type of property, age condition etc.

However, do not leave your job and try to dive directly into RE investing... you will just be shooting yourself in the foot because getting money is so much easier when you have a day job vs. trying to live off the cash flow of each property you purchase.My advice...
