From top to bottom you need to know why you do everything from the "BIG WHY" to why you are choosing the investment you are choosing over other options, why you are using x% for repairs on this property and y% for a different one, etc etc etc.

This is y question.

I suppose I have never thought to set them with respect to an annual number instead of "doing Y, X times a week."

The first step is to educate y yourself on the market and the strategy you would like to focus on.

I'm of the same notion as Jon -- if this is a shared entryway (hallway between units), then I definitely feel like that would warrant the installation of security cams.

@Kalen Jordan call the police, say you are used to living in cities and just wanted to get theirtake on X neighborhood, particularly y streets for quality of life.

When I want to do it because my risk tolerance is so low is when I cam afford to have the property myself so it can be more of a passion/side project if all else fails.
