You can do the research, join a local apartment association or hire a PM.If that sounds doable to you, you can certainly search online for a property, but if you find a good agent, they should be able to steer you to a property that will serve you well as well as point you in the right direction for any management advice you might need.Best of luck!

Starting REI with this much debt could get you into LOTS of trouble.Imagine, if you follow my plan, in 3 years you may be able to have 5-10 cashflowing properties (roughly, 1.5 years to knock out the debt, 1.5 years to get deals and buy properties which definitely do-able).

Overall, each town and each investor will need to pull together a number of options to create what everyone deserves - a clean, habitable home that doesn't bankrupt the family vs. a reasonable rate of ROI... not easy - but "doable".
