What advice would you give if you were in my shoes? 

If I were in your shoes, I would have a career goal of what I wanted to do and take actions that moved me closer to that goal.

I know I’m missing pieces here, what would be your 1st steps if you were in my shoes?

I 'm in the same shoes, 9-5 job is not going to help you with financial freedom. 

I would love to be in your shoes where people come to my door and drop rent.

So we are in similar shoes!

Just put on some running shoes and go for a jog to the nearby park, do some pull-ups on the monkey bars, and heck go talk with some people there while you're at it. 

In the past 4 years, I have bought multi-family apartments and find that the cash flow there is great, and in this environment (not typical), the appreciation was good too.And now to do both (Yes and No); If I was in your shoes trying to decide what to do, I would focus on finding myself a place to live in that I could call my own.

If I were in your shoes and I could break even as you say, I would sell and be done with this as soon as possible.
